    hey jon,

    you can try netphotostore.com

    i got kodachrome k40 for $9.88 a roll(cartridge)

    go to the site
    click on film
    click on 'movie'
and it will give you three different types
    plus x b/w reversal
    tri x b/w reversal
    kodachrome k40 (color)

they have a field where you can 'make an offer'
you can type in a cheaper price than what they are selling it for and they will tell you if they can sell it for that amount.

ordering directly from kodak isn't too expensive, so i've heard.

    good luck!

I dont know all the best places to buy but this might help. I just won an auction on 12 packages of kodachrome 40 film for 78.00 plus 6.00 for shipping etc. Thats 7.00 a roll, wont find a better buy on new film. Kodak sells film cheap, if your a student. If you ask them to fax/send you a educational allowance sheet, and you return it with a photocopy of your student i.d. you get 20% their film. Black and white comes out to 7.76 a role for students. Its originally 9.65 a roll. (Both plus x and Tri X) Color film you can buy also, but it gets cheaper when you buy 5 or more at a time. You get discount when you do that. If you are a student, the price gets even better. Go to Kodak's web site and check it out, or call them and the reps will gladly set you up. If you try ebay, just make sure the film isnt too old, you can find good deals, you just have to look. Han

I found out, that aplace not to far away from me, Bono Film and Video, sells it for $12 and i dont have to worry about shipping because i can just pick it up. Plus their's no minimum order unlike kodak. But thank you for the tips.
